This Crockpot BBQ Peach Meatball Recipe is the perfect recipe for those days where you want a weeknight meal that’s easy on prep time but still tastes great! There are only three ingredients needed to make these delicious meatballs.

Meatballs are by far one of our favorite ground hamburger recipe ideas! While this recipe calls for frozen meatballs, you could make your own meatballs from ground beef if you preferred.

However, we are all about the quickest meals possible here at The Speedy Gourmet!

This dish can be served as appetizer or main course at any family gathering or get together with friends.

I know what you are thinking, “how is a slow cooker recipe considered a speedy meal?”

Yes, it takes hours to cook, but it doesn’t take hours FROM YOU! So, we consider it a speedy dish. A speedy dish allows you to spend very little time actually making a recipe.

This Barbecue Peach Meatballs recipe is a dump-and-go dish with frozen meatballs. That means, you are going to spend less than 7 minutes putting the ingredients into the Crockpot. Then, when it is time for dinner, you will simply serve it.

Ingredients for This Recipe:

I love a recipe that doesn’t include a long and complicated list of ingredients. This recipe only takes THREE – seriously, three ingredients!

  • Frozen meatballs
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • Peach Jelly

Tools Needed to Make Meatballs in the Slow Cooker:

I am starting to feel a bit like a broken record. This recipe is SUPER EASY! Three ingredients and ONE kitchen tool.

  • Crockpot – I like this 8 quart version

Easy, right?

Modifications:

As I have mentioned a few times, you do not have to use frozen cocktail meatballs. You can always make your own meatballs to use in this recipe.

Not into peach? No worries!! You can change the flavor of these simply by changing out the jelly: strawberry, apple, grape – the possibilities are only limited by your ability to find jellies or jams!

For more of a kick, use Italian seasoned meatballs or meatballs with parmesan cheese.

Cooking Tips & FAQs:

This i a dump-and-go recipes. That means you simply “dump” everything into your slow cooker and “go” on about your business.

Into your crock pot, add meatballs.

Then, add your barbecue sauce and peach jelly or peach preserves.

Cook the meatballs for about an hour, then stir well. If you wait about an hour, the jelly and sauce will become more liquid or easier to mix.

Make it a meal:

You can serve these peach crockpot meatballs as an appetizer or as the main entre for a family meal. If going with them for dinner you may want to try the following recipes to round it out.

Veggie Dish – Citrus Cranberry Snap Beans make a flavorful vegetable side dish to serve with these meatballs.

Starch Dish – There’s just something about BBQ sauce that screams for potato salad. Am I right? Why not take your potato salad up a notch by adding some bacon and cheddar? This Bacon Cheddar Ranch Potato Salad recipe will be delicious with these yummy meatballs!

Beverage – Just make some sweet tea!

Bread – Open a box of frozen Texas toast to sop up the BBQ sauce or make your own!

Dessert – No meal is complete until everyone has had dessert. These Mini Cheesecake Waffle Bowls will be the perfect end to a delicious meal.
